Miss/Ms/Mrs ??

When you are addressing a women; there is a confusion thats always pertaining, Miss / Ms / Mrs ?

The basic formula goes like this:
Miss for some one who is not married, Mrs for some one who is married, Ms for some one you dont know whether she is married or not? or simply say it can be used for both married and unmarried women.

In writing we can very well differentiate Miss and Ms. But the problem is, when it comes to addressing them face to face, How do we differentiate it?

Are we to pronounce Ms as 'Miz' and Miss as 'Mis' ? Is that right?

There is also a pack of Male chauvinistic claiming that Ms is used by women to mask her marital status, and trying to prove her identity!  Poor things!! Think these people are too sickened about the fact that there is only one title, they will be addressed 'Mr' irrespective of their status. (Married/Divorced/Single/ Desperately single) lol.... :-))
